Web applications
Responsive, accessible applications with Angular and modern web technologies.
Independent software engineer since 2008
I design and build powerful, reliable software that fits your business. From modern web applications to robust .NET backends—with a pragmatic approach and a personal touch.
What I do
I help organizations translate real-world challenges into software that is clear, maintainable, and ready to grow.
Responsive, accessible applications with Angular and modern web technologies.
Reliable .NET services, APIs, integrations, and business logic built for the long run.
SQL Server, Docker, and practical engineering workflows that keep delivery moving.
Selected experience
Every assignment starts with understanding the situation. The technology follows from there.
Central Government · Environment Act
Development and maintenance of a web application supporting the Dutch Environment Act (Omgevingswet). The platform helps government organizations find previously submitted requests for a specific location or geographic area.
Requests may exist across different levels of government. Users need a clear way to search by request number or GeoJSON geometry and see related submissions in one place.
Veneta.com · Software Engineer
Veneta.com sells made-to-measure window coverings and supports customers with personal advice and installation services. Rapid growth placed increasing demands on a landscape of legacy infrastructure and applications.
The organization needed to keep its existing systems effective while preparing for a modern infrastructure and application landscape that could better support continued growth.
MRDM · Software Engineer
MRDM collects, processes, and verifies medical data for personalized medicine, decision support, benchmarking, and research. The assignment focused on a secure, cloud-based solution for exchanging data between MRDM and its customers.
The Microsoft .NET solution was delivered in two forms: a platform-independent command-line utility and a graphical Windows application, supported by a web-based administration tool for cloud resources.
Wehkamp · Software Engineer
Wehkamp was replacing parts of its established retail website with a microservices architecture. The new services were developed using a mix of .NET Core and Java/Scala while the existing platform continued serving customers.
Modernization had to move forward without interrupting the day-to-day operation of a busy e-commerce platform. New services and applications needed to coexist with the legacy ASP.NET landscape.
CROW · Software Engineer
CROW brings together and publishes Dutch knowledge about infrastructure, traffic, and transport. Its subscription-based publishing platform needed greater stability, new functionality, and a modernized editorial system.
The first assignment replaced the unstable website frontend while retaining and integrating with the existing backend. The follow-up assignment continued the modernization by replacing the editorial backend.
SLTN Inter Access · Software Engineer
Inter Access rebuilt a frontend and backend application for United Holding, which provided billing and catalogue-management services to franchisees in the consumer electronics and home-appliance industry.
The platform supported essential processes including purchase and sales invoicing, as well as the management of a product catalogue containing more than 60,000 items.
Police Academy · Software Engineer
The Police Academy needed to expand and improve the software supporting its primary processes. The assignment was to design and build a course-sales information system through which police organizations could browse and enrol in courses.
The web application integrated with existing applications and the financial system. A shared architecture, based on domain modelling, provided a reusable service layer and common model across several applications.
About Bink-IT
Bink-IT is the freelance software practice of Frank Dibbink, founded in 2008.
I combine hands-on engineering experience with a direct, personal way of working. That means asking the right questions, communicating clearly, and building solutions that work in the real world—not just on paper.
